On Friday at noon we board the first of three flights that will take the Main-Goers to Uganda! Thanks to the help of MANY, the GO-Main bags are packed and a care and meal schedule has been made for the SEND-team. It takes an entire village to send us and we are so thankful for your partnership!
As for the trip, we have three main goals...
1) We get to meet Sebur, the Sudanese refugee orphan that we have been sponsoring through Lahash for the past six years. He's pictured here washing up after helping to mud the walls in their new kitchen! We are very excited to get to spend some life with Sebur and his large family.
2) We get to participate in a 3-day Kids' Bible Camp. Below is a photo of the camp site Lahash is renting along the Nile River for this wonderful opportunity. Please click here to link to the Lahash blog for more about the camp weekend! It's going to be great!
3). We get to take part in the dedication ceremony of one of the four family-style homes being built for our friends in Adjumani! Many enthusiastic supporters and local officials will be in attendance for this wonderful dedication.
Today we took a moment to share why the Main Goers want to go to Uganda.
