We are VERY encouraged over here on Main St.! We have been so blessed by God's kindness to us through your generosity. Our funding updates include online donations and checks received at Lahash in September. We also have a couple other blessings...
1) Our local church has generously agreed to encourage & support us. They are committing to providing over 10% of our funding needs!
2) Our travel fund numbers are based on the high end of ticket prices. Last week, our friends at Lahash purchased tickets and they priced out at the LOW end! No kidding.
Our partners in East Africa have several projects they would like to work toward (I heard something about a latrine- sounds like a needful project to me). Any funds that come in above and beyond our travel needs will go toward these special projects.
However, even with that said, we will joyfully tell you when we reach 100% of travel funds as we continue to seek the Lord for how He will provide for other needs.
